It has come to our attention that it is very unlikely that funding for

the repair of Colorado & Southern 2-6-0 #9 will be available in order for the 9 to be ready for 2008. We have tentatively rescheduled this event to September 18, 2009. Without two operational steam locomotives we will not be able to run our railfan charter. We have a fantastic day all planned with the railroad and ready for execution once number 9 is operational.

Full day of railfan events and several different charter train consist pulled by Colorado & Southern No. 9 and other locomotives during the height of the Colorado fall colors.
